We are Vernon & Ashleigh

Ashleigh has spent fifteen years in the classroom in various diverse schools teaching AP level social studies courses (primarily AP Psychology and AP Human Geography) as well as a few years of middle school math. In 2019, she began working on her second masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with the hopes of opening her own private practice one day.

 

Vernon has been a long time entrepreneur, building many businesses in his lifetime. His background is in graphic design and event planning. In 2011, he began his trivia company which has now grown into a large small business in south central Pennsylvania.

 

We founded Rooted in Learning in 2020 to merge Ashleigh’s background in education with Vernon’s knack for graphic design to create USABLE, RELEVANT and DURABLE quality classroom resources! In collaboration with other educators, these two have put their heads together to create products that real teachers can use in real classrooms with real  students!
